Sarah Ferguson is reportedly consumed by fear over returning home to Britain amid her Jeffrey Epstein ties coming to light.

A source told RadarOnline in late April 2026 that Fergie is “dealing with a profound sense of anxiety right now—she fully understands the gravity of the attention surrounding her situation, and it has taken a noticeable emotional toll.”

“The constant pressure and scrutiny have left her feeling deeply overwhelmed, and at times she seems exhausted by the weight of it all,” the source said. “Sarah is genuinely uneasy about the prospect of returning to the UK, and that anxiety has only deepened over time.”

Fergie has since fled to the Austrian Alps, where she’s allegedly living out of staff quarters at a luxury chalet—partly due to financial issues.

“From the outside, it looks like she is staying in one of the resort’s most exclusive chalets, but the reality is far more modest,” one spectator told RadarOnline in a report published on April 26. “There is a growing belief that she is actually based in staff accommodation, which would explain how she is managing to remain there without the kind of expense people would expect.”

A separate insider claimed, “There is a wide perception that she is simply too broke to have the resources to sustain a $3,000-a-night lifestyle for any length of time. Living in staff quarters would allow her to maintain a presence at the resort while keeping costs under control, particularly as scrutiny around her circumstances intensifies.”

Another source argued that Fergie’s alleged decision to reside in the staff quarters is likely due to her desire for privacy. “This is not just about finances—it is about disappearing from view at a moment when attention on her is at its highest,” they explained. “Staying somewhere discreet, even if it means more basic accommodation, helps her avoid the kind of visibility that would come with a more conventional luxury stay.”

As of now, it’s certain if Fergie will ever return home. Sources alleged to RadarOnline that her sudden departure “unsettled senior members of the royal family.” One noted that her ex-husband, disgraced former Prince Andrew, helped her relocate, which “has caused real discomfort among the royals.”

A palace aide revealed, “There is a sense that the situation has been handled in a way that prioritizes avoiding scrutiny rather than addressing the underlying issues. That approach has only added to the tension within royal circles.”
